Bigots should not rule this great state! He is an awful governor.
I did not vote for you, and your reaction to today's news is just further proof that I made the right choice. You sound like a spoiled brat who is angry because you have to share your toys with another child who has no toys. YOUR religion should NOT be used to create laws that govern the rest of us. This is not a theocracy. Your freedom of religion has not been affected at all by today's historic vote. So stop whining. Or, you know, step down as governor so someone competent can take over. That'd be swell too. Oh,and thanks ... read more
Education appointments... failure Medical coverage issues... failure Equality issues... shameful hypocrisy Good at.. Fear mongering, destroying ecosystem, and taking away a town's right to control it's own health and economic future. Can only hope the God he worships kicks him on the head soon.
I respect the Governors religious liberty not to marry somebody of the same gender, I expect him to respect my civic liberty to do just that. . . disappointed if not in the least surprised.
Bastard. This man puts a sad face on his "religion."
Very impressive governor
Vote and get this devil out of office!
We, conservative property tax payers in Atascosa County, are very disappointed that the Governor vetoed HB 2282. That bill that passed both the House and Senate by huge margins, would have allowed Atascosa County to be the test case for property tax reform by providing alternate means of resolving property tax disputes. The Governor has ignored the wishes of the people and has deferred to a lobbying group; could it be the lawyers???
Gov. Abbott: How will you justify the Open Carry Gun Law when there is a mass shooting in Texas? You have made it lots easier for massacre, and others willull out their guns and it will take us back to the Old West. Also, that law is just one more thing for people to laugh at Texas for. So sad. And it will be on your shoulders.
