We are a small, historic hotel (20 rooms) with unique, comfortable rooms and two restaurants on site. We have gorgeous grounds and a lot of live entertainment ... live music, comedy nights, and dinner theatre shows.

Last night I stayed here with my boyfriend. We have stayed here many times and usually book a room there once a month. After this visit it is unlikely we will return. As I stated before, we have stayed here many times and usually when we check in they hand us the keys and we move on our way. The particular man who checked us in today has checked us in only once before and he gave me the creeps that time too. Awesome – Best place in Rochester. Staff and food are fantastic. Always something going on there. comedy, dinner theatre, etc. We are lucky to have such a cool place. The summer music series is great.
Not as good as they used to be. Have been to the Governor's Inn a few times in the past it was always pretty good though overpriced, still a nice dinner out away from the chain's.

A 5 star dining experience in the country If you are looking for exquisite cuisine, Governor's Inn is the place to go. The food is cooked perfectly, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is second to none. The rooms at the Inn, are perfect for someone wanting country charm. A true sense of New England is what you feel while here. I highly recommend the Governor's Inn for your wedding or special event.
You'll never be disappointed with the quality of their service! The Governor's Inn is known to be the best place in town to have a wedding and/or wedding reception. It is a very nice facility and the food and service are beyond compare. Keep in mind, though, that their prices are significantly more because of it. That being said, if you are looking for class, quality, and a great atmosphere, The Governor's Inn is the way to go.
