When I first went to Dr. Ferdowsian my back was so injured form lifting wheelchairs and caregiving that I wasn't even gaining strength when I went to the gym. And my body couldn't compensate anymore. During an exercise class, my knees were pulled upward because my muscles weren't getting the signals to function properly.
