Excellent service and food. The best tuna tartar in taste and presentation I have ever had anywhere. The foie gras was amazing and the lamb chops delicious. It was my husband's birthday and ever detail, from the hostess reception and greeting, wonderful seating, sommelier, bussers, and our server; service was impeccable from start to finish. Had the tuna tartare. it was excellent and the rest meal just got better. The mushroom rissoto, great, and the new york steak was superb.
We were treated like royalty with every dish absolutely spectacular! Our very good friend, Certified Master Chef, Dale Miller recommended the restaurant for us and made a call to get us in when we had decided to make a trip down to see a play. On my short list. Honestly my list has been growing for the past few decades.
Great place, beautiful, simple elegance! The food is amazing, truly works of art for your mouth! The service is impeccable! From the time you walk in till the time you leave it's truly a joyous experience! They really know the business of serving, the staff is genuinely nice, courteous and knowledgeable. The price point is fairly reasonable for such a well run establishment.
Finally ate at one of the restaurants that were on my bucket list. Ambient is fabulous. A little too busy for my taste and waited almost a half an hour even with a reservation. loved the chocolate moose... Duck dish was OK... but the salmon appetizer was the best part of my meal.
We love going to the Gotham especially during Restaurant Week. The menu is always delightful.
Phenomenal. Always exceeds our already high expectations. Bravo Chef Portale.
