After driving over an hour to arrive at dentist, I was told by staff that they no longer take Humana. I was never given a call before my appointment that they no longer take my insurance. Staff at front said they sent out a statement on the Thursday before my appointment. Mind you my appointment was today (Monday ). I understand insurance issues and companies no longer taking insurance but please have the courtesy to call and let your patients know. Communication is horrible. I have been a patient here over 20 years. SMH
I do not recommend TCG for the following reasons: The four different TCG dentists (TCG has a revolving door of dentists!) my family saw over the three year period all failed to identify two growing cavities in my son's mouth, resulting in us spending $3,000 when we left and sought opinions and services from other reputable dentists. TCG's business model is clearly volume over quality; they enroll as many clients as possible to receive incentives from the insurance companies and there are not incentives for them to do dental ... read more
We have been patients there for a number of years, but they suddenly and without notice told us they were no longer accepting our CIGNA insurance (I and understand that) and they no longer wanted to have us a patients (I was pretty astounded by that). Not exactly a patient friendly practice.
I have been with TCG for years and they were once a great practice (I use to have Dr. Waldman). In the past few years, this practice has broken down in service and communication. If you want to be a new patient, good luck, they never answer the phone. If you're an existing patient, Dr. Goss will change what insurance they accept and tell you the week before your appointment--very short notice. If you're a state worker that cannot change your insurance until a certain period during the year, this is unfair. It's also too diff... read more
