As always, Dr. Poelman's staff is friendly, efficient, and thorough. Prior to my cleaning, a technician took the regularly scheduled "pictures" and checked that my insurance would cover a special procedure that I requested. My hygienist cleans my teeth thoroughly but gently. Dr. Poelman gave me a professional exam, even going beyond the usual by examining my jaw where I'd been having a specific issue. His assessment was reassuring.
I have been going to Dr. Poelman since he first came to the Poway office many years ago. I have had trouble with my teeth for the past 40+ years because of my nighttime bruxism. It has caused problems for me including broken teeth, jaw pain and morning migraines. Dr. Poelman has been very professional and has helped me along to keep my teeth in good working order. My dad is 99 years old and in an assisted living facility. He has been a patient of Dr. Poelman’s for over 20 years. When it became impossible for us to get him to Dr. Poelman’s office, Dr. P came to him! He came to his assisted living facility and did a cleaning and exam. This was so above and beyond. We can’t begin to say how much we appreciated Dr. Poelman’s dedication and consideration to my dad. He is truly not only a wonderful dentist, but also a wonderful person.

Very impressed - professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff, nicely appointed, comfortable office and easy parking. Dr. Poelman and I had a lengthy discussion about my charts and dental needs, and proposed a comprehensive plan going forward to achieve the desired results.
