But for the relationship with Buffett, this joint would be a not-so-big-of-a-deal steak diner. (Not a steak house.). The side salad was no biggy and the vegetables for the night were simple glazed carrots. But the steak was good and the service folks were nice.

Not gonna lie it was busy because the world series was canceled but, the Tbone I ordered mid rare was served mid well and just as cold as the restaurant. I rarely send food back because I'm in the food service industry. To be honest the steak look boiled. No sear or grill Marks on it. No seasoning at all. It was disappointing because I was under the impression I'd be getting great Nebraska beef. I'm sure it was before it was destroyed. Was not impressed. I was really looking forward to a nice tender steak and it was not. It was a smidgen under cooked when I requested med well done. It was still bloody so not really that I’m pressed with the place

What do I like about Gorat's Steak House is overwhelming! First the management is great, the employees are more than wonderful, the food is outstanding (never had a bad meal), and the music is awesome for sitting and listening or dancing.
