Hands down our favorite restaurant in Louisville for when we just want "comfort food." ��
I'd never been there before this week and I've already been twice. I tried the bottomless chicken livers on Wednesday night and they were the best I've had since childhood. I had the meatloaf last night and again it was the best I've had in a very long time. Will be visiting regularly from here on in.

Love this place! Not only is every dish an authentic offering of what was served on my grandmother's table, but the staff consistently goes over and above to make every visit special. Great food. Great prices and the best fried green tomatoes and fresh greens in Louisville.
First visit, tried fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, okra, Brussels sprouts. Food was excellent, service was excellent. Waitresses seamed to work well together. Happy to see they have beer and wine. Would go back again. Can't wait to try breakfast.
