Great food, family atmosphere My husband and I go to Goose Creek Diner at least once a month. The food is good home cooked meals, such as fried chicken, meatloaf, beef stew, etc. The portions are huge, and everything I have ever tried has been great. They have very good prices. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and I recommend this place for some comfort food and good family fun. PROS: Grat food, large portions, family atmosphere CONS: Nothing diet in this place
Fairly nice restaurant. One Sunday we drove by Goose Creek Diner and decided to go inside and eat dinner. This is a pretty small place. The place is nicely decorated inside and very clean. The menu has a nice selection of food. They have great fried chicken! However, many of the side items, such as green beans and carrots, were not so good. On Sundays there is a buffet with live music. Everytime I visit Goose Creek, I am greeted with happy smiling faces, staff following covid protocols, as well as amazing food! Highly recommend
Tonight i wittnessed a troubling incident. During the pandemic, i have made every attempt to support local restaurants and shops instead of the nationwide chains that we all know are not suffering like our small businesses. That being said, as my wife and i walked in to the restaurant i wittnessed a man being told he must leave for not wearing his mask. I am so sorry to hear about your experience. As owner, I expect all employees to be welcoming to anyone who is kind enough to give us their business. One thing we don't have control of at this time is the governor's mandate that anyone entering the building must be wearing a mask. We also offer masks, free, to anyone who doesn't come in with one. Of any of the carryout we have done over Covid, GC had the BEST portions, custom service on the phone, service when we picked up and quality was same as when we dine in! Their Family Meal options are priced right and more we had leftovers. Love them!
Don’t mess with the holiday meal, they filed us under Thursday. We ordered for today. It’s on the paper, 45 minutes after pickup time we finally get the order, minus items they didn’t have. There’s too many options to make mistakes like this and not bother to say I’m sorry we messed up. Attention to detail and ownership of mistakes both go a long way, that was what was lacking the most.
We ordered our Thanksgiving meal from Goose Creek Diner. My husband saw their post on Facebook. We got Turkey, dressing, glazed baby carrots, mashed potatoes & gravy and cornbread. It was all so delicious. My daughters both said the mashed potatoes were so awesome! My only negative (and it really isn’t my too negative) was the dressing needed to be a little more moist.
