RecommendedWe had our first visit there this evening for dinner. Food was fabulous! My honey had the catfish and I had the jalapeno burger and fried green tomatoes. Then one of the cooks said that we had to try the cheese grits, so we did. OMG, so good! We were beyond stuffed! Place was PACKED and this is a Tuesday! We will definitely be back!
I love fried liver, fried okra and fried green tomato. I’d been here several times and almost all their food served are delicious and I like their service.

We had an excellent experience at Goose Creek Diner!! The food was delicious and a lot of it!! Highly recommend the chicken livers...best I’ve ever eaten!! Country fried steak, green beans, mashed potatoes...it was all great!! Service was excellent too!! The coconut cream pie & the brownie were also amazing!! We will be back!!

Don't order the Portabella Mushroom sandwich. Mine was burnt to a crisp. Just the smell alone alerted me to the horrid site. The waitress agreed after I told her it was charred. Asked if I wanted another or was there something else she could get me. I decided to give the Portabella another try. Big mistake. It too was charred but not AS bad. Nonetheless I couldn't eat it.
Great home cooking. If you haven’t been... you gotta try this place. Country fried steak is the best I’ve ever had. My wife loves the chicken livers.
