My sister discovered this place first, what a find! Lovely owner, yummy treats, great neighborhood steward! Highly recommend cinnamon rolls and lemon cupcakes.

When I eat anything from Good Cakes and Bakes I can tell it's a lot of love put into the baking. I've made a point to try EVERYTHING on the menu Since the day it opened I can honestly say I have never been disappointed. Totally a HAPPY HAPPY CUSTOMER.
Good Cakes and Bakes offers delicious soup, in addition to a wide array of wonderful sweet delicacies. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly, so it's a really great place to schedule meetings or just stop in for a little retreat from a hectic day. You'll walk out with a smile on your face, guaranteed!! :)

Excellent service and the best bakery in Detroit! They were incredible with providing delicious cupcakes for a few corporate events for us!
The First Time I Went There Everything Was Excellent. The Second Time Not So Good. Everything I Order Was So Hard. No Type Moist. Taste Like Everything Been Sat Out And Got Harden I Called Back Yesterday And The Owner Never Returned My Call
I have lived right down the street from this place and had no idea what I was missing. The butter bar cakes are my favorite. I tasted the sweet potato pound cake and I am in love. The caramel/apple cheesecake is bomb. I would recommend this beautiful little gem of a bakery to everyone. The owner is so nice and I really wish the bakery much success!!! My new favorite spot!!
