Walmart - I think not In response to your opinion that Gold's Gym is a Wal-Mart style of pricing is ridiculous. All the old treadmills were replaced and plenty more new ones added. They expanded with lots more equipment and remodeled/painted the place too. I never went to any of the classes. Always thought I would but how many people actually do. I like paying less and not paying for all the crap I didn't need anyway. Oh and the flat screen TV's are awesome!!!
Gold's Gym At one time this gym had high appeal. The change over to the Wal-Mart style of pricing has meant a significant reduction in services. All group fitness classes were cancelled, and we were told to go to Women's World if we wanted group fitness. The treadmills have been substandard for years. A promise of wide screen TVs was offered under the renovations. Now those who are working out are just shy of harassed to buy personal training sessions. This is not my gym anymore
