The only reason I am even a member here is to finish my contractual agreement. I moved and am nowhere near a Golds gym and still have to pay the fees. It seems as though what I signed up for and what are in the system are two different things. The staff seems friendly enough, the personal trainers aren't trained well and/or don't listen to members about their bodies needs or limitations. Great atmosphere and the best staff anywhere.
This gym like many others are all about the mighty dollar & I feel like the employees have been trained in what I call the "slimy salesman" tactics. I've been lied to throughout my membership & the things promised to me never came to fruition. I wouldn't recommend a contractual agreement for anyone that isn't ready for it but I wouldn't recommend this gym because of the way I've been treated. Hearing stories of other members troubles just intensifies my dislike for this particular organization.
