This gym is the best in the Aiken and Augusta area! It has everything you need. It's clean and a very calm place to be. The women's "Sanctuary" is literally just that. I plan on making an extra 30 minute drive when I am just to workout here.
I loved Gold's while we were actually able to utilize their facility. In August, we had to relocate to Columbia, SC. There are no Gold's facilities here. We have been given the most ridiculous runaround! For almost six months, we have been getting charged for something we can no longer use! So frustrated!
You have a particular staff member who freaks out over the clanking of dead lifting. I understand you don't want us to drop the weight from knee height, but naturally when you lower the weight down to the floor during deadlift it makes a clank, and this guy gets all upset about it. What are you expecting in a gym? That's like going to a bar and asking people to not be loud and don't cuss. This is just the beginning of issues with him, and I've heard numerous people complain about this guy. Maybe he should actually be useful ... read more
