Dr. Goldman is awesome! I cannot for the life of me understand the negative reviews. These people must not want help or are hyper critical in life in general. Dr. Goldman truly cares about his patients and he is compassionate (sometimes direct and forceful in a good way) about helping people and effecting change. I have to two other psychologist and I have grown and improved more with Dr. Goldman than the other two combined. Ignore the negative reviews! Do not hesitate to make an appointment if you are wanting help or feel s... read more
It took three years for my son to finally come around to being brave enough to share with his current psychologist (that we've been seeing for 2 year) how Dr. Goldman scared him and threatened him to say anything about it to his mom. This doctor should have his license revoked. Due to character limits on this post, I can't go into more detail. There are lots of good child psychologists out there - he is not one of them.
Dr Goldman has been great! We've been seeing him for about a year now. He's straight shooter, so if you don't want to hear the truth don't go see him.
I'm not sure about some of the negative reviews for Dr Goldman. I urge you to read between the lines of these reviews if you are at all on the fence about him. You don't need a secretary to be a good psychologist. Dr Goldman has been wonderful for my son. He makes him feel at easy and in turn my son has been able to open up and work through his struggles. We have seen a significant change (positive change) in him over the past few months. Would highly recommend Dr Goldman!
Insightful, knowledgable, and practical.
Dr Goldman's passion for the work that he does with my child is amazing and transparent. He has taken my son, with his idiosyncracies, ADHD, and aspects of autism, and given him tools to help him function in school and other social settings.
Dr. Goldman was wonderful to work with. He provided an environment for our son to open up and overcome the anxieties he was facing as a teenager. We absolutely recommend him. No nonsense, straight-up, no games.
Dr. Goldman has been a god send. Within a few months of starting with him, we were seeing real improvement in our son. I appreciate that he doesn't try to sugarcoat things. Our discussions about my son are very clear and, especially at times when things can seem so confusing and out of sorts, I need that honesty and clarity to help me better know how to help my son. I feel like, because of this, I have become a better parent to my son. I have recommended him and I will continue to do so!
Dr. Goldman was very difficult to work with. He was treating my son for depression and possible Attention Deficit Disorder. When I decided to cancel with him I called him and he argued against cancelling. I told him we were cancelling and he hung up on me. He subsequently referred two outstanding appointments to a collections company and I'm still fighting this today.
