Caring individual. Straightforward. Very helpful and compassionate while working with me. Feel he genuinely cares for his patients.

The mental health world is a taboo topic. When red flags appeared with our sons behavior, mannerisms and even his social life; I did some digging on what my options were. After calling several other places with zero availability, Dr. Goldman called me back personally. The process of getting started was easy enough and he got us on his schedule the next week. I was unsure of how my teenage son would bond with him. To my surprise, they have several things in common and my son enjoys his hour a week talking with Dr. Goldman. It... read more

Dr. Goldman is working with our teenager who is on the autism spectrum and we are thankful for him. It's not always easy opening one's life up to another, but he has been very personable and straightforward, showing us areas in which we can change. Our son is willing to talk with him and that in itself is huge. This attests to the doctor's ability to connect with different personalities.

my experience with Brian’s personable, yet professional, demeanor and ability to provide dynamic care make his treatment exceptionally effective. The office is also in a relatively low traffic office park area, which provides a nice level of discretion and doesn’t include that awkward packed waiting room experience.

We have had a great experience with Dr. Goldman so far! We have been taking our 13 year son to see him once a week for several months now due to some social anxiety and other typical teenage issues. My son has really responded to Dr. Goldman's style of counseling! He seems to have gained more confidence in himself and his decision making abilities. He is also being more responsible overall and helping out at home more when needed. I like the fact that Dr. Goldman talks to the child separately, the parents separately, and als... read more

Dr. Goldman is a real treasure. He has helped me enormously!!! I have been in therapy before with little success. I have changed and grown so much with his help. He is compassionate, honest and straightforward. He actually seems to care about his clients (my friend went to see him and felt the same way). I have stopped going because we both felt that I know longer needed therapy. However, he is helping my daughter now because of her anxiety. She feels much better after just a few sessions. She likes him and says that she fee... read more

Brian is: *Not interested in patient wellbeing *Obsessed with his strict office policies to collect extra fees *Rude & abrasive *Lacks character and trust DO NOT try to: *Pay with an electronic form of payment (It's the year 2021 but only accepts cash/check). What a headache with HSA and Insurance. *Cancel a Monday appointment on a Friday because life pauses and never gets in the way on Fridays. He won't count the weekends as part of his 48hr notice. Another trap to collect fees. *Expect a reasonable human being, it's very a... read more

Business response:

You read and signed the offices policies with no questions asked. I billed two insurances and patiently waited 3 months for payment. When you realized that you had to accept responsibility for both cancellation policy and payment for services (due to deductible) you posted this very unfair review. Try to stay focused on your issues rather than projecting onto the therapist. I truly hope that you get the help that you need. Best wishes.

Dr. Goldman is awesome! I cannot for the life of me understand the negative reviews. These people must not want help or are hyper critical in life in general. Dr. Goldman truly cares about his patients and he is compassionate (sometimes direct and forceful in a good way) about helping people and effecting change. I have to two other psychologist and I have grown and improved more with Dr. Goldman than the other two combined. Ignore the negative reviews! Do not hesitate to make an appointment if you are wanting help or feel s... read more

It took three years for my son to finally come around to being brave enough to share with his current psychologist (that we've been seeing for 2 year) how Dr. Goldman scared him and threatened him to say anything about it to his mom. This doctor should have his license revoked. Due to character limits on this post, I can't go into more detail. There are lots of good child psychologists out there - he is not one of them.
