Talk about a great experience! I first called and left a message and expected that I would have to call them back but they called me! I told them I was new to the cycling world and bought a used bike. I needed a few things and they said stop on by. I don't think I've ever had a better experience making such a big purchase. The people at Goldfinch are knowledgeable, super-friendly and absolutely zero-pressure. Went out on a bar crawl bike ride and my tube went flat. I called and they were able to get me in and back on the road with in 15 minutes! Here’s the best part while working on my bike they took off my koozie and water bottle and forgot to put them back on my bike. Before I left I said I was heading to a local bar and appreciated them getting me in and out. When I got to the bar I noticed I didn’t have my koozie or water bottle and didn’t think much of it. This shop is incredible. They are knowledgable, patient, friendly, affordable and overall just a great place to shop! 10/10.
I have shopped around and purchased some bikes around Cedar Rapids, but I don't think I can go anywhere else. The staff at Goldfinch was great, knowledgeable and didn't pressure me at all to buy anything. I walked out with a new bike, burrito bag and everything I needed to be safe on the road. And I got it at a price I didn't think existed. You will regret not getting a bike here - trust me. Fantastic service.
The staff has been wonderful the three times I've been in. They helped me pick out a bike for my daughter, assembled it, and have helped with maintenance and have always been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I'm glad to have them in Cedar Rapids.
