At the same location since 1958, this traditional gourmet steakhouse has been visited by hundreds of celebrities and thousands of loyal diners. The Alaskan king crab cocktail has a delicious mustard sauce, and the blue point oysters are also a favorite. For your entree, a visit here would not be complete without tasting the Diamond Jim cut of prime rib. Steaks and lobster are also standard on the menu, as well as frog legs, scallops and filet mignon. Full wine and bar service is available.

cold steak and the worst long island I have ever drank.. if you are professional you would measure.. the mushrooms and the double baked potato were good.. 120 bucks later?.. I will never eat there again

This is “Old Fashioned” Las Vegas. It is one of very few places with the 50s, 60s, 70s atmosphere. The steaks are fantastic!!! We have tried most everything on their menu. It is all fine. The Staff folks are attentive to you and friendly. We have dined here since the 1970s. We recommend The Golden Steer above anything else in town. WFHBear@aol.com LV NV 89120
It's a once in a lifetime, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it tho. It was good. I compare it to the Pine Club or Oakwood Club in Dayton, Ohio, which is just as good and less expensive.
