At the same location since 1958, this traditional gourmet steakhouse has been visited by hundreds of celebrities and thousands of loyal diners. The Alaskan king crab cocktail has a delicious mustard sauce, and the blue point oysters are also a favorite. For your entree, a visit here would not be complete without tasting the Diamond Jim cut of prime rib. Steaks and lobster are also standard on the menu, as well as frog legs, scallops and filet mignon. Full wine and bar service is available.

Interestingly enough, I was told I had to remove my hat in order to eat in the dining room, due to it being "fine dining." As a woman, my hats are an accessory that I choose as an integral part of my ensemble, not like a ball cap or beanie. I also watched as men in sneakers, jeans and sweatshirts were seated. So much for "fine dining," as shortly after we were seated, a group of six men were seated nearby and all we heard was "F-this" and "F-that". Had our wedding dinner here and it was amazing!! Delicious food and awesome service! Drinks were excellent as well!! Will definitely come back if we are ever in Vegas!
I enjoyed it as a youth. I appreciate this splendid restaurant as an adult with refine taste. Thanks for making my husband's 65 birthday an experience beyond his words. Ronald Thurman Sr., my husband, was well pleased.
Tasty, great service and fun atmosphere
Food has been excellent on both visits. However, some of the wait staff present on November 11 could use some people skills. A simple request to exclude an ingredient from the table side Cesar salad sent the preparer into a rage. Then an 18% tip on a $500.00 check was apparently not enough as the waiter through the receipt to the table while expressing disgust. Unbelievable!!
This was the most delicious steakhouse that I have ever been to, and the atmosphere is classic Vegas. I can’t wait to return!
