golden mountain Went here once and when going in I was the only customer I soon found out why. Their buffet did not look very appetizing. Thier prices were okay but I did not like the food much and I didn't like the empty atmosphere.
ahhh.....finally, great food – I sure hope Golden Mountain will be here to stay! We live locally and go here twice a week. Everything is just done correctly. The seafood is fresh. The soups are just right, not too salty. The noodle dishes are cooked to perfection! Loved everything we've tried. It's been the best customer service too! Polite, welcoming and helpful.
I LOVE this place! – The owners of this restaurant are so amazing, and their food is too! After years of eating stir fries filled with celery and fillers, we were amazed to see how much meat they put in these dishes. We ordered the salt and pepper crab, which was soooo good. (Right out of the tank fresh!) The Kung Pao chicken was the best I'd had as far back as I can remember. Tasty Chinese food – The food at Golden Mountain is consistantly fresh and tasty. You can take a look at the live fish and crab towards the back of the resturant -- they always look healthy). The food isn't overly greasy and you wont end up hungry again in a few hours, at least I dont. The portion sizes are generous; I can usually walk away with some leftovers for my next meal. Best fresh crab around; very delicious Chinese food; generous portion and great prices – The Golden Mountain Restaurant was written up by the Pioneer, a publication serving the California State University, East Bay. Gladed we gave it a try. The taste of food was excellent. The meat and vegetable served were obviously of very good quality. Prices were more than reasonable. The fresh crab is a must try.
