Perfect egg custard! Golden Gate Bakery makes the best egg custard tarts, better than any I've ever had in Northern California. Everyone that's been to this bakery raves about them. If you're not into eggs or custard, try the pork buns, which are also impressive. Be prepared for a wait in a long line, but if you wait it out, you won't be disappointed.
pastries If you are looking for a world class bakery, you shouldn't have to look anymore. Golden gate bakery offers a wide selection of pastries and breads that are just scrumptous. If you been here, you know that their business is so hot they always have a line out the door and very crowded. Their custard tarts are extremely good and the coconut lemon roll is delicious. Just writing about them is no comparison to what you see and taste at this bakery.
