They need to call an exterminator. My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway and when we went to bed we heard strange and disturbing animal noises and scratching sounds. When we turned on the lights we found a mouse dragging an Annie's fruit snacks wrapper under the base board heater. The wrapper had been on the nightstand right next to me so it was crawling next to my head. We are working with a local exterminator to have the pest issue resolved immediately in that building. Unfortunately because we were sold out this past weekend we couldn't move your room. Nice outdoor and indoor pool, sauna and gym. Good walking track, cafe served fantastic cooked breakfast to order. Comfortable bed, like the heat sensor in the bathroom. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic resort. Our room was clean and updated, the staff was beyond helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very good - I can't say enough about The Golden Eagle. Don't forget to take advantage of the complimentary snowshoes and miles of trails right out your door, too. We can't wait to come back, thanks Golden Eagle for an awesome vacation!

Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else while in Stowe . Love the afternoon coffee and cookies ! Breakfast definitely one of the best :-)clean nice comfortable room.
