Visiting Leadville from Scotland. Stopped in for breakfast. Great food and great service.
Was disappointed, had heard so many good things. People who were sitting behind us, almost walked out because it took so long for their food and all they had was soup and salads and had been sitting there several minutes when we got seated. Table that was seated and ordered after we did got their food before we did, then found out the cook is that waitress's mother, go figure. The food here is very good! Had the chicken fried steak which I recommend.
The listed website (www.goldenburro.etc) hasn't opened for me for 6 or 8 months. If someone visiting can verify that David W. is still the owner, I would like to know how to contact him in advance of a spring trip I have planned, which includes Leadville. I live out of the USA, so that may be the problem, but had no trouble contacting the site a year or so ago. For those of you there, eat hearty! I love the place. I hope we can figue this out.

We stopped in for lunch mid November. My son and I both had chicken fried steak. It was delish.
