My husband surprised me with a weekend trip to the Queen cabin. I was amazed at how beautiful and cozy it was. Fireplace was going and soft music was playing when we walked in. It was so relaxing and romantic for us, busy parents of 4. We will definitely make plans for a return trip in the future. Thank you!
Friends and I have stayed at the Pondview cabin twice since 2013. We can't imagine going anywhere else in the Canaan Valley area. We love Golden Anchor!
We spent the weekend in the Royale cabin for our anniversary. We received a call 5 hours prior to our check-in time to advise that our cabin was ready early. That is the first time that has ever happened to us! The cabin was perfect. No detail was overlooked. When we walked in, there was a fire in the fireplace, soft music was playing and the mantle was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Had an amazing time. So relaxing and beautiful. Also loved the property cat that slept in front of our fire place every night we were there!! Will definitely be coming back.
Recently stayed for a quick getaway and hiking trip. All I can say is WOW! We were blown away when we walked in to the cabin, the decor was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a romantic vacation. The cabin was clean, warm and welcoming. The hot tub and fireplace added the perfect touch. We befriended the tuxedo cat who was quite the cutie, we really enjoyed his company on the porch. Everything was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at the Pondview cabin recently. The owners have made improvements since we were here last year. There is a new king size bed and new sofa and chair. The hot tub has a new easier to lift cover and the owners have added a new charcoal grill. It was the perfect family escape from the rat race for just a few days. We will be back in the winter!!
This cabin getaway made our 4th anniversary special. We stayed at Classic and what a cozy, wonderful cabin. It looks just like the video and the extra amenities were amazing. I loved the chocolate dipped strawberries. We hope to be back again in the near future and you can be sure we will spread the word around about your cabins.
