My husband and I celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Queen cabin. From the moment we walked in we were in awe! The cabin was beautiful and I loved the music that was playing. The view was spectacular especially at night with the stars shining through the windows. And it was quiet! Something we don't have often in our lives! LOL We will be back :-)
This was my girlfriend and I's first vacation alone together in the near 4 years we've been together.....and we couldn't have been happier! The cabin itself was beautiful, the scenery was amazing, and it was very relaxing. It was wonderful waking up in the mornings to the view of a snow-capped mountain in front of you. As the sun begins to set, you see the flickering light of the fireplace dancing along the walls. We couldn't have asked for a better place for us to spend some much needed time together.
Highly recommend this place. My wife and I had such a lovely time here. The cabins have all the things you might need and then some. They are nicely decorated, perfectly clean and maintained, and set in a location with beautiful views and easy access to local activities and amenities. The staff were very helpful and accessible and they did a wonderful job of keeping the roads clear of snow during a constant dusting for three days. This place is a great choice, and we can't wait to come again.

We spent our 1 yr anniversary here, in Pondview, it was wonderful.
My husband and I spent the night there and it was even better than we thought it would be! Very easy check in - check out. The place was very clean, neat and there were thorough instructions regarding everything! We'll be back for sure!

Our family of five stayed at Hillside and had a fantastic experience. Clean, warm, and with a great view of the countryside, we also had easy access to the sights in the Canaan Valley area. Definitely very highly recommended!
