My experience with Dr Raisinghani has been similar to the other comments I’ve read in these reviews. He indeed does seem irritated, impatient, does not encourage questions and only answers questions, by giving a short, condescending reply. My health team at UCSD are all first rate, so I’m quite surprised to find a doctor so lacking in even the most simple rules of civility. I’m going to find another cardiologist who is not always late to my appointments, encourages and answers my questions and doesn’t intimidate me with his ... read more
Unfortunately, I allowed Dr. Sur to perform an aquablation prostatectomy on October 22, 2024. It is now more than 11 months later, and I am still passing large amounts of blood and clots in my urine. Nothing Dr. Sur foretold about the procedure turned out to be accurate when compared to the actual results. In retrospect, during many of my conversations with him he was confused and unable to provide direct answers. After his extremely bizarre behavior during and after my surgery, I reported his unacceptable and unprofessional... read more
I went to Dr. Sur because of recurring UTI infections her recommended Aquablation Therapy Treatment of the Prostate had it done on March 28, 2025 before my surgery I was infected with and ESBL Klebsiella Pneumoniae bacteria he put me in the hospital 5 days pro to the surgery to receive IV Antibiotics. After the surgery I keep having infections and ending up in the hospital, I am now on my third treatment of IV Antibiotics at home, this time for 6 weeks, my previous treatments were one for 1 week and another 3 weeks and the B... read more
I've been under Dr Sur's care for many years, and feel very fortunate he is my urologist. I always feel he gives me good advice, taking the time to explain what my condition is and what my options are. He has carried out certain procedures for me that went flawless. What I was especially impressed with was that I had one situation where, while he could do a certain procedure, there was one other possibility that he did not offer, and recommended someone who did. He could have simply steered me to having him do what was the l... read more
TERRIBLE WHERE DO DOCTORS GO WHEN THEY ONLY HAVE A ONE STAR REVIEW, THE VA La Jolla ,,, she has 75% 1 star review , the kinda Dr the VA specializes in , if you want to go through the kidney stone treatment , without any meds , she’s your gal , she gives the impression she enjoys the pain , by the way you have to give a star rating to continue , Sakamoto does not deserve one star ,
She is a good surgeon, but she is actually a terrible doctor. She was impatient in answering our questions and actually wrong about several things which I understood when I got a second opinion her manner is speedy and there’s anger right under the surface and plenty of impatience, I got a second opinion at City of Hope That was such a completely different and very positive experience. Dr Saenz should remember that doctors are healers and cancer is a very frightening experience. My family members who accompanyed me to the po... read more
Dr. Kikkawa assured me blepharoplasty would only remove excess skin and would not worsen my dry eyes. He never mentioned it could alter my natural eyelid structure. After surgery, my creases were nearly doubled, my dry eye worsened severely (six vials daily), I developed chronic eyelid discomfort, uneven lids, and can no longer wear contacts. I lost the natural look of my beautiful eyes, look older, and no longer resemble my daughter's eyes, which is devastating. I am only 51 years old. Recovery took over a year of my life, ... read more
Dr. Laverty has been my neurologist for about 10 years she's very knowledgeable about my specific condition(Duchenne muscular dystrophy) what some may have perceived as being condescending is just her trying make sure her patients understand what is going on rather than just throwing around words you may not understand. Every time I see her she treats me with respect and makes sure to answer all of my questions.
Still seeing her annually. Would not answer direct questions (e.g., What stage?) and was difficult when I asked for referral to a clinic 10 min from my home instead of 45 min daily for 35 radiation treatments. Sitting on my cancer was extremely painful at the time, and i finally had to say i would NOT get Tx if i had to drive so far. After local treatment with a gentle and caring oncologist, I returned for a check. Dr. S let a marvelous Fellow examine me, but came in to ask 'How long did it take before the pain went away?' i... read more
