What an amazing Hotel, bar and fine dining!
If you like ghosts and spirits messing with you while you sleep this is def the place for you. We stayed here June 2018... I travel with a small fan because I like the air and I also need the noise to sleep. Sometime close to midnight my fan was thrown off the nightstand. I thought nothing of it as the entire city of Virginia city is unleveled. Between 2 and 3am the fan was thrown off the night stand again and this time the drawer was pulled out. Its a great place to go for a first or second date. You can have a delightful dinner and finish it off with a cocktail in their cozy little bar. And if things got really heated up you can book a room to stay over night.

I am a local and was entertaining an out-of-town guest and wanted to show them the beautiful Gold Hill Hotel. We decided to stop in for a cocktail and Jet was the bartender. As soon as we walked into the bar she was rude. I don't think I have enough words to explain her bad attitude .
