The price gouging on supplies is a criminal offense. They charge $47 for a saline flush that cost 35 cents to purchase. Gold Cross is extorting a vulnerable population with their pricing.
I had an Emergency at my residence earlier and called 911. The response time was atrocious! I would have been far better driving to the ER, than waiting for gold cross to show up. When they finally arrived to check out the injured 3 year old, The EMT’s had ZERO urgency. they casually walked to the back of the ambulance to get the gurney and they just walked up the driveway as I’m trying to get them to hurry instead of pulling up it like I instructed them. I would not be here today without the fast and skilled service of GOLD CROSS. Even the medical people in ER said the crew of that ambulance saved my life.
They are the worst ambulance service I’ve had the displeasure encountering, I’m epileptic, I had a mini seizure at work and coworker called an ambulance, without my consent they took me to the hospital which I didn’t need, resulting in a fee of over 2000 dollars, which I make barely enough to get by. PS most ambulance services wait for to to get conscious to see if you need to go to the hospital if you are not in dying.
