I booked a last minute appointment at Goa Eglinton, but unfortunately I was disappointed with the overall experience. It was not worth $70. From the moment I arrived, I didn’t feel particularly welcomed in the salon, which made the visit feel impersonal. The hair wash felt extremely rushed, lasting only a couple of minutes. I have long, straight hair, and at most salons the wash is a relaxing part of the appointment and takes much longer. Uho was amazing. Loved the haircut. He paid attention to the exact cut I wanted and aced it. The staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend.

I appreciate the polite service but after a week, my hair colour is still uneven light on the top half down much darker. Everyone thinks I got ombré but no I didn’t. The hair cut got layered up a bit too much which is very out of date. To be honest, it’s quite hard to communicate the stylist in English, I ended up making a $100 payment for hair treatment which I had no idea they were mentioned previously. With how much money I have spent, I am very disappointed.
I want to preface this review with me having gone to this salon for the first time to get a balayage done and having to get the whole thing fixed a week later. They offered to fix my hair for free, which I appreciated. The hair that I have right now is really nice and and Erin did such a terrific job at fixing it. I was very impressed! However, when I first got my hair initially done by a different person, it was really quite horrible and not even close to what I had asked for.
