Love The View, The Food and the server was amazing
MY SERVER ALEX was polite, and attentive, the boiled lobster was delish. And the view of my favoite schooner the Thomas E Lannon just outside the window was the perfect frosting on the cake! Where else should I have a totally fresh lobster than in the Gloucester House , on the harbor, with a voyage on the Thomas in the offing! ALEX was awesome, too!
Not sure why some negative reviews because we found this to be a great place. Food was delicious, clams casino were colossal, and tasty. Waiter was very attentive. Very nice!

Another great experience at GH, our waitress Jackie was “OUTSTANDING”, and the food was delicious as always. It has never been a disappointment driving 45min for a great meal and awesome view!!!

Fine location right on the Gloucester waterfront with their menu serving up some great food, but the attitude from the dining room manager was poor and only slightly better from the server... You would think they’d greet customers to their establishment with a smile and be more personable, and when you’re done and walking out past them, you’d expect them to lift their head up and acknowledge that you visited their restaurant and say, “thank you” and wish you a good day...
