My wife and family stayed here during spring break, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We were in Unit 1002, a two-bedroom apartment on the 10th floor at the northwest corner, offering views of H and 15th streets. This is the Woodward Apartment Building, which has apartments managed by Global Luxury Suites also known as Churchill. Where do I begin about my husband and I’s experience here. If you’re expecting a nice place, then you’ll surely be disappointed. We arrived at our place with multiple lights burnt out, large amounts of dust on the ceilings/light fixtures, a soap holder literally ripped off the shower wall, and what looked like water damage that warped part of the hallway by the kitchen. This is not a hotel. It has a “ concierge” but the woman at night was high as a kite and refused to do any work. Our first room bed was broken. When we went downstairs she just kept repeating “call customer service” in a sassy voice. When we called the lady 10 states away was very helpful. They moved us into another room. The second room did not have blankets so when I asked the sassy, high, fake concierge I got the same response “call customer service” It took a day for them to deliver the blankets and when they did, they l... read more
