I've seen him since 2000, and my health needs have evolved. I have always found him to be patient, honest, knowledgable and well connected to refer.
I've been a long time patient of Dr. Kehlmann. We recognize each other on the T when we go to baseball games. (Or at least he fakes it.) I had a dramatic health event take place in 2021. Upon its conclusion, I made an appointment with Dr. K. Without letting me know, I ended up seeing his backup. That's fine. But then I looked to make a annual appt, which I hadn't had in a few years. He may know what he is doing although I've never been able to speak with him long enough to figure it out.
I would not recommend him. He ignores telephone calls, discouraged questions and generally does not care about patients. He does the bare minimum to get by.
Excellent doctor. I am a complex patient and he is always aware of every other doctors notes regarding procedures I have had. After he examines you, he takes you in as office and dictates notes regarding the appointment, which is very helpful to me. I would highly recommend him.
I can't rave enough about Dr. Kehlmann. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient-focused. He answers my questions thoroughly, and always makes sure I feel comfortable with any next steps. He's great!
He totally ignores email and even refuses to return calls deemed urgent. Doesn't seem to have an ounce of care or empathy for his patients. If you give 0 stars that's what he deserves
Dr Kehlmann may know what he is doing although I've never been able to speak with him long enough to figure this out. He is typically extremely punctual and actually seems annoyed if you do happen to be late so you should try to avoid that. My disappointment with him is that he hardly seems to listen at all to what you have to say. He ushers you in, asks some questions as he takes notes, checks you out, and then ushers you out. The office is not the most friendly either so would not recommend.
Doctor Kehlmann is the worst! Every time I go to him I'm rushed out of his office, barely hears any of my problem just writes down numbers of specialists and sends me to get blood work. If kehlmann has above a 4 star rating on this site I would have a 4 start rating on this site.
