Dr. Axelrod performed a total knee replacement following years of Advil and ice. As I am an avid skier, cyclist and golfer, the concern was, "will I be able to participate in those activities, and if so, at what level?" My fear was that I'd be joining a book club for the remainder of my life. Not so. Dr. Axelrod painted a very real picture about the procedure, the rehab and physical therapy. Dr. Axelrod was a professional about the injury , good personality, and took the time to explain what was going to happen and how long recovery would be. We would use him again for care.
I had knee repair for meniscus and arthritis five years ago and I was up and going within a few days. This year I needed similar surgery for the other knee and once again I was able to return to work in less than a week and never used crutches. I hope I won't need orthopedic surgery again but if I or any of my family or friends need to have surgery I will highly, highly recommend Dr. Axelrod. He is professional, his office staff is friendly and helpful and he does a great job!!
very good in his field easy to talk to, very good bedside manner, he did my sons acl so i had prior encounters with him. i would recommend him to anybody that needs a knee replacment.

He was excellent to me when I needed surgery!! He explained everything and stay on top of it in the office ,hospital and post care!!! I want back for my second surgery and again perfect!!! I have zero complaints!!! Would and have recommended dr. Axelrod!!
Provided wonderful care and could tell that he was focused on my needs. The experience was quick and easy. I will be seeing him for any future problems that might arise.
