Specialties We take pride in selling healthy animals. Puppies are from local breeders, NEVER puppy mills. If we can not see the enviornment where they are raised we do not take them. We also sell kittens, small birds, bunnies, guinea pigs and select reptiles. There are 2 fantastic groomers on site that provide grooming 6 days a week. History Established in 1995. LOVE LOVE LOVE this store I have purchased many animals from Glendora Village Pets over the past 10 years. The owner is very informative and has always helped me when I had questions. Reading the other comments I can not see how people can think bad of the store. We all have bad days and it is not easy when someone elses bad day affects us but just think about how others feel when you have a bad day. Stop bad mouthing our small businesses. I would shop her 500 more times
GREAT STORE!! I know the owner of this store and she is a kind and loving person. Her puppies are the best around and her employees are very helpful in all matters of the pet business. She is a very fair and compassionate person. The negative comments on this forum are from one disgruntled ex-employee who is only out for revenge. I say they need to grow up and move on!
Proud Puppy Owner Have visited this store for decades....but last week, we bought a puppy!!!! It is so spunky and healthy and the staff was so helpful and explained how to take care of the puppy. The owner and her daughter helped us know what we would need to keep our new puppy, Dexter, healthy. Thank you so much to our new addition to our family.
look elsewhere Not only is this store exensive, but we purchased a puppy that ended up requiring extensive eye surgery in the thousands of dollars and still had to be put to asleep after all that.
Mistreatment.. Do NOT go there!!! I took my bird there to get groomed as in wings and nails and got a hell of a surprise. I warned the owner that the bird was normally uncaged and that I had not got his wings clipped in about a year. She proceeded to open the cage and have him jump on her finger like she was Moses. My bird not familiar with her flew away. She repeatedly beat the exposed piping that he was perched on with a small goldfish net causing him to go in a panic mode. Glendora Village Pet Shop is a good place to buy pets I think it is a great store. I bought two cats there years ago and they were, and are, the most wonderful pets. Yes, I've had to take them to vets for illness, but that was certainly not the pet shops fault. I would give the store a big thumbs up!
Don't trust bitter people!!! It does not matter what shop you go to, you are always going to have an experience, Good and bad, but this place is great! Don't let bitter people or those unhappy with a one time experience who cannot spell make to decide not to check it out for yourself. Go and visit and see for yourself!
i just saw the last statement and had to respond i was there the day the i i was present the day the bird came in for its wing clipping and thought the lady cutting the birds wings did the best she could with the info. provided the owner of the bird on the other hand was extremly out of line while the lady was catching the bird with what looked more like a bird net to me and she may have done it a little stronger and less careful then normal but i think she feared for the birds life due to the puppies jumpin around in the wi... read more
I woul definatly disregard the other comment!!! I have lived close by to the pet store for many years and have always recieved quality care!! We all have problems with pets here and there but if it was ever to the pets stores knowledge or if they were at fault they took care of it for me!! I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a great pet that was raised by a family and not some mill......
