Specialties We take pride in selling healthy animals. Puppies are from local breeders, NEVER puppy mills. If we can not see the enviornment where they are raised we do not take them. We also sell kittens, small birds, bunnies, guinea pigs and select reptiles. There are 2 fantastic groomers on site that provide grooming 6 days a week. History Established in 1995. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF! A++++ I have been shopping at this store, as well as in downtown Glendora for MANY years. I have never had a bad experience here. Furthermore, since the departure of 2 specific employees, one with blue hair and tattoos and one large, heavy set girl, the atmosphere in the shop has changed for the better. LOVE LOVE LOVE this store I have purchased many animals from Glendora Village Pets over the past 10 years. The owner is very informative and has always helped me when I had questions. Reading the other comments I can not see how people can think bad of the store. We all have bad days and it is not easy when someone elses bad day affects us but just think about how others feel when you have a bad day. Stop bad mouthing our small businesses. I would shop her 500 more times
great place to buy a pet from i was in there and bought the best puppy. he is a great puppy how was healthy and happy. the workers were very helpful and answered every question i could think of. they helped me pick toy that would be good for the puppy and the right food for him. if i had to say anything about this place it would have to be very amazing and will never go any where else again. thank you for all the great help and out look on the great new addition to my family ashley
look elsewhere Not only is this store exensive, but we purchased a puppy that ended up requiring extensive eye surgery in the thousands of dollars and still had to be put to asleep after all that.
GREAT STORE!! I know the owner of this store and she is a kind and loving person. Her puppies are the best around and her employees are very helpful in all matters of the pet business. She is a very fair and compassionate person. The negative comments on this forum are from one disgruntled ex-employee who is only out for revenge. I say they need to grow up and move on!
Mistreatment.. Do NOT go there!!! I took my bird there to get groomed as in wings and nails and got a hell of a surprise. I warned the owner that the bird was normally uncaged and that I had not got his wings clipped in about a year. She proceeded to open the cage and have him jump on her finger like she was Moses. My bird not familiar with her flew away. She repeatedly beat the exposed piping that he was perched on with a small goldfish net causing him to go in a panic mode. Glendora Village Pet Shop is Great nothing but love for this store I LOVE this place the owners are nothing but nice i have never had a bad experience there. They are not expensive at all they are cheap compared to pet smart and pet co they also have better food for your pets. They also really care about your pets always asking how there doing. The girl with plugs and a tattoo on the back of her neck is great always nows here stuff
They must pay or ask people to write good reviews the store is awful after reading previous reviews I am floored I shopped at village pets for many years even got my two dogs from here. The store used to be clean and upbeat since the recently mentioned employees have left I have received nothing but poor service and the store seemed to be getting worse the last few times I went I have now ventured to san dimas just to get my food to avoid seemingly sick puppies poor service and just a dirty dusty store! Good experience I love reading reviews. The reviews for this store are so entertaining. There's so much he said she said, it's kinda funny you know. I liked this store. They seemed pretty friendly. I just went in there on my way home to pick up some food for my pooch. I didn't think they were rude or nothing.
