Horrible, horrible experience. My daughter was diagnosed as a high risk pregnancy in her third trimester. She was sent to a high risk doctor for weekly visits, as well as weekly visits at Glen Meade in order to closely monitor her and the baby. Complete lack of communication between the two offices. My daughter was induced three weeks early because of preeclampsia, thank gosh! Terrible patient care. Right hand doesn't know what the left is doing!!! Treated with disregard!! Find another doctor!!!
I have been here now for 1.25 of an hour waiting to get a read out of an ultra sound! It gets worse every time I am here. Love the doctor but they have to fix their system!
So disappointed. This is my first pregnancy and they have made the experience horrible. My first appointment the receptionist embarrassed me by asking me where my husband was (I'm not married). She was assuming that my father was my husband because I am under his insurance. When I told her I was single she then fired back with "oh well, whoever this is on this card, I need their birthday or you can't see a doctor." We had a great experience at Glen Meade. The doctors answered all of our questions during my pregnancy. We were able to schedule our next appointment during the check-out process. If I had to change an appointment it was not too hard and the staff worked with me to find a time. Drs. Robison, Foiles, and Jones are amazing!!! Dr. Robison delivered our baby and everything went very smoothly. He made us feel at ease and we knew everything would be ok. Great doctors!!
I have been with Glen Meade OBGYN and Dr. Robison for more than 10 years. I'm not a "spring chicken" and have only needed the GYN side of the practice. Recently I needed some "girl parts" surgery. Dr. Robison and nurses Mary and Wendi could not have been any more helpful with all of my questions. They spent a long time addressing my concerns both during office visits and in phone calls. I recently called there wanting too make an appt, too see a dr as a new pt to discuss IVF, The receptionist/scheduler was soo rude too me she asked " What dr, do you want?" and " our next opening is not until the end of sept". She acted as if I was a nuisance to her. It mad me so pissed off that I decided too seek another office were they are very respectful and courteous. If you don't like your job quit!!!
The most uncooperative billing department I've ever dealt with. My doctor, Herman K. Rhodes billed me for a "wellness" exam which I never asked for. I asked for a pap smear. The billing department said he listened to my heart so that makes it a wellness exam. As a result, my Medicare won't cover it so Dr. Rhodes expects $295.00 to come out of my pocket to go directly into his because HE didn't do what I asked for. Absolutely disgusted and mad! Doctors are a 5 star. Receptionist desk is a 0 star. I lost a baby this past February and got recommend here before I try again. Got pregnant again in May and now considered "high risk." I got the first appointment just fine. After the appointment the lady at the front desk wouldn't let me schedule a "nurse appointment" and said we will call you in a couple of days to schedule the appointment. 4 weeks later.. no appointment, No bloodwork results, NO NOTHING!
