Pt scheduling is very difficult and time consuming. Avgerage wait times are 45 minutes and a scheduler didn't call back as promised. Some nurses are very competent and caring. Others are not knowledgeable and assume without wanting to ask your physician about the prep products. The prep products work differently on each patient. Communication could be improved by the team and compassion towards the patient. Separate portal to pay bill, cannot find out how to pay my bill. Did not get a statement. Cannot find out how to pay. It is not the normal IU health portal or payment desk.
Have been to Glehmen Lehman several times for my Barrett’s Esophagus Treatment's and everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Had it not been for Dr. William Kessler I could be in bad condition right now. He took care of me and did what needed to be done and I now have a clean bill of health. Great Surgeon and a great team of health specialist.
Had my 2nd scope in 5 yrs here. From the front desk staff on everyone was just so friendly, and that is so important and reassuring to the patients. It couldn’t have been any better. Such an amazing atmosphere, just imagine what their holiday party is like. Invite me!
