I visited four coffee shops in Rochester yesterday ; this was my favorite . A good macchiato in a nice space , ample free parking and friendly staff . Not great for handicapped access because there are stairs in front , but I asked to be allowed access through the back employee only door and went in with Chris , who graciously helped me . Normally I LOVE it here, but unfortunately it has gone from a quiet coffee shop I can get some work done at to a hotspot for Instagram photos and screaming about who has a bigger yacht. Plus, the fruit flies were out of control! Sorry guys, moving onto some quieter coffee hangouts.
Much rather go to Joe Bean, where they actually make and roast their own coffee
Wow! My 1st go at "fancy" coffee, and it was magnificent! My server (wish I remembered his name) was cool and nice to chat with. Coffee was ab-fab, we loved it!
Best damn pour style baristas in Rochester- and I have been to the other ones. Their Ethiopian Yergicaffe is heavenly- Tutishta heaven level stuff. Friendly staff- no matter how busy my they are they say hello- and will chat with you at the bar while they pour away. visit them-and no other coffee place in town will do.
