I'm thinking of taking legal action since the billing department is not working with me, since my insurance is willing to pay this hospital bill in full, but the hospital will not refer to my attending doctor to correct the billing code in my file. Instead, I'm starting to get bills & collection threats, even though I have been advised though Council Member Karen Koslowitz's office that what this hospital is doing to me is against my right's due to the pandemic. Horrible Service, Keep you waiting in pain for MANY HOURS to give you meds, Do not supply clean linens, pillows, towels, socks, Leave you in the hallway unattended for hours, don't feed you, They leave you feeling UNCARED FOR, Unattended, and Untrusting, that you are in good hands. Our Healthcare system is the WORST of ANY democratic Nation.
They do a poor job with infection control, cleaning. Left my disabled, elderly mother laying in waste for hours until rashes developed. Before Covid-19, have photos of no PPE available for isolation rooms. Have photos of staff walking around neighborhood not social distancing and the hospital doesn't care.
