My wife and I ate there for a pre-birthday celebration Wednesday night and dined on the patio. The service and food was truly outstanding. We enjoyed the cast iron quick bread with the Brussel sprouts served with brown sugar bacon marmalade sprinkled on top. The main courses we ordered were the brick chicken, creamy corn, simmer succotash, and dill; along with the grilled 5-Dot Ranch NY strip steak (12oz.) fingerling potatoes, al a "escabeche". It was a very memorable dinner!
Probably the best place I ate in all of California. The food was some of the best I ever had!
My boyfriend and I ate here on Monday night, celebrating our two year anniversary and tonight sending our housemate on his farewell dinner. All I can say is, yum!! From the chicken to the tamale special to the brussel sprouts to the vela-veeta to the pizza to the homemade ice creams to the NO corkage Nov and Dec, you really can't go wrong:) Go here, enjoy yourself, relish in the quietness, that is Glen Ellen.

I ate here last night celebrating my 31st birthday and I absolutely loved it. Order the corn from the vegetable menu - it's is divine! The wait staff was excellent and I loved the cool yet casual atmosphere.
