Best meal in my memory. Chef has amazing talent! We sat at the food bar which was most fun.
So great. Vegetable dishes are outstanding. Michelin quality food in a casual, intimate setting. Also Glen Ellen puts the B in bucolic, love that town. Only complaint is that they kept us waiting for a table 25 minutes after our reservation. Their hands were tied because the table was refusing to vacate despite the three busboys staring holes into their heads, but they could have comped us the drinks we had standing outside in the rain.
This young man can cook. We look forward to visiting for the unusual and delicious foods. Thank you Ari!

Quaint location in the village of Glen Ellen, INCREDIBLE flavors from the wood fire oven and incredibly fresh ingredients and an outstanding value should you go on Wednesday night where there is free corkage! A must.
As all the other reviews have said the food is just the best. The vegetable dishes are particularly outstanding. As a bigger group we tried most of the main courses on the menu and each one enjoyed their meal. The Glen Ellen Star know what they are doing and I would definitely eat here again if I was in the area. Good job guys!

Glen Ellen Star is a hard to get in restaurant for a reason. The food is excellent and many Sonoma wine country locals know about the high quality of their local and organic options. Try the chicken or the various roasted vegetable options. I particularly enjoyed the roasted cauliflower. It's wine country eating at its best.
