Borderline criminals. Performed construction of a giant patio without a permit right outside my unit. I lived with trash, insects and debris right underneath my windows and French doors for AN ENTIRE YEAR, while they purportedly tried to get permits. On two occasions (Sept 22 and Sept 24, 2012), they used child labor - an 8-10 year old son of one of the employees was there lugging boards with nails in a construction zone - illegal. A toilet with a door – By far the worst experience I have ever had with a landlord. We had a big rain storm while I was living there, and my roof caved in. My clothes, my computer, my life was swirling in the deluge. It took over 2 weeks to get it fixed, and when it rained again...you guess it...whoosh ceiling one more time. No knowledge of this tenant/incident. (NOT 1 INCIDENT OF ROOF CAVING IN ON ANY OF OUR PROPERTIES, MANAGED OR OWNED IN THE LAST 30 YRS, that's major & serious. Requiring months of engineer, permits, contractors, didn't happen) floor damage caused by a roof caving in would not have been deducted. If true & ALL dep not returned, obviously other issues: dog or personal damage. Damage to personal possessions clothes, computers, probably furniture, and car. Reporting to carrier.
happy I found Glb Properties and my dream apartment – I was transferred by my firm to southern CA from Oregon and was concerned I could not find something with warmth and character like home. There are a few company's that seem to specialize in this type of living and all seem good. I just happened to find my dream apartment from Glb. The experience was and remains good. The best of the art deco apartments, GLB Apartments – I just had to write a review since this sad murial b. chose to make such a negative review for Glb Properties.My experience was completely the opposite.They were the best landlords I have experienced while living in LA for about 10 years, I've been back in NYC for a year and I am calling them again upon my return shortly and might rent another apartment fromthem.
