I hired VanGieson Home Repair initially to do some work on the exterior of my home: soffit replacement and repair. Mr. VanGieson (Steve) contacted me almost immediately when I registered with HomeAdvisors and was available to come out and give me an estimate for the work at my convenience. Steve was good in the beginning. Did the work without properly researching the product. Skylights do not function properly. I cannot get Steve to return a call, text or email to discuss how we can solve the problem. I have had to contact a manufacturer rep to come figure out what is wrong. I hope Steve is well and not responding due to a medical or family condition. Hoover Al

Mr. Boyd is mistaken, we had two meetings before install. I presented Mr. Boyd with 8 pages of specs, black line drawings, dimensions and an elevation drawing. I adamantly recommended as per manufacter, installing SunTube opening on EAST side of roof. Mr. Boyd insisted to put openings on WEST side of roof and lights are dim as result.. Within minutes of requesting an estimate, I had a call from Steve VanGieson. He came over the next day and gave us a fair estimate. Work began the very next day. We are very satisfied with the results.
Knowledgeable craftsmen who know how to assess and complete jobs in a reasonable timeframe. Would use them for all exterior and interior jobs
they caulked around a window that was leaking and hammered a loose nail on the roof and caulked it
