Beach-y AND upscale! When I first heard Gladstones had been redone, I was taken back. But this place has gotten much better. The CRAB ALFREDO FETTUCCINI is some of the better Italian seafood I have had lately. Most of the menu is new, but favorites like the Clambake are still on there. Some may be alienated by this, but I feel it breathes new life into the place.
fish gladstones is one of the best restaurants i have ever been to. the food is great and the service is excellent. in addition, it is a fun atmosphere and cant beat the location-on the beach.
Food is great here This is a fun place to eat. The food is great. I usually order a seafood dish and the restaurant is right near the ocean with outdoor patios facing the ocean. Food is pricey, so I only eat here for special occasions like Easter or Mother's Day etc.
Always enjoyable! Always good! We're never disappointed when we go here. The food & service is excellent & the atmosphere is more than satisfying. Sometimes the wait is lengthy but that goes with the territory!
Outstandingly Fresh Seafood with a terrific ocean view The seafood is out of this world fresh, whether it be the Hawaiian Tuna, Chilean Sea Bass, or the Monterrey Oysters, all seafood lovers would find this place remarkable. The icing on the cake is the ocean view because the reastaurant is basically on the ocean (A few steps and you're in water). Gorgeous.
Fun place to go I love going to Gladstone's. Not only is it a California Landmark, but I love to see the variety of people who go there. It's fun to "people watch". I mainly go there for their bloody mary's and clam chowder. It's my get away when I need a little pick me up.. .. PROS: Get views, Big Bar to hang out CONS: You should bring cash for valet, they don't take credit cards
Poor Service on My Birthday! Discriminates Against Less Affluent-Looking Customers On a Tuesday around 1:00 p.m., I went with my husband to Gladstone's in Malibu to celebrate my birthday. Gladstone's has a large outside deck where one can sit and dine, and on this sunny day, we wanted to sit outside. Great For Large Parties I really enjoy dining here the ocean view is simply beautiful and the atmosphere is fantastic. The wait can be long during the holidays or weekends but they offer reservations so if youre a planner like me this wont be an issue. The food is fantastic and the prices are much more expensive than others in the area. It can get a little noisy so I wouldnt call this a romantic place and I would leave the kiddos at home but if you don't have sitter the menu is kid friendly. Wonderful A great restuarant right on the beach. Excellent seafood and desserts. Very nice for a date. Seating indoors or out. Every time I have gone, I always see a celebrity. Slightly pricey but your talking lobster. I highly recommend it.
