The owner is the best. She treats me like family every time I go in there. The food is great and the staff are friendly.
Gitan is a wonderful neighborhood gem. The owner was sweet and her service was excellent. The shrimp bisque was delicious. I've already been spreading the word about this wonderful place. I will definitely be back.

Gitan is a hidden gem. Everything was spot on from the casual yet warm service to the thoughtfully prepared dishes. No pretense here, but quality is paramount. Try the labneh with zataar to start. If your lucky the owner will come out and chat for a while. This will become one of your regular stops!
I love Gitan !!! It is like visiting family !! Slow down and enjoy a delishious meal, excellent wine or cocktails and the art of conversation (( put those phones away) !

I spent three years in Europe and this wonderful little spot is one of the only places in Baltimore that reminds me of that experience. Nice atmosphere, food well worth the wait and the people are friendly.
