About this business

The drive of the culinary entourage at Girl & The Goat gets its inspiration from the persistent animal that is now their not-so-concealed mascot. Specializing in locally-sourced and organic produce, this restaurant follows the farm-to-table philosophy to the tee. Vegetables, seafood and meat are cooked up in fun, imaginative ways, minus the compromise on variety. Going by the name, the goat dishes are sure to tantalize your taste buds. While the menu changes with the season, the vibe remains unchanged. The exposed beams, woo... read more

Amazing! It was worth the wait. Everyone involved in the crafting of the menu from drinks to breads to food is brilliant! G&G gets all the stars.

Excellent experience and amazing food. We found the service to be stellar and were very pleased by the interesting flavors and combinations. Definitely lived up to our expectations. Only suggestion would be that that staff scanning for open tables try to be a bit more inconspicuous.

Great food, bar staff was a little gruff and caused the loss of 1 star. Yes it's an experience, yes it's unique, yes the foods is amazing and yes had the bar staff been friendlier they would have gotten 5 stars. If in Chicago go try it.

Incredible! Go with a larger group so you can try more dishes, we did the goat empanadas, pork shank, beat salad, shishito peppers and it was amaaazing. Do stick to roughly 2 dishes per person as it can get super filling!

Came here for the first time with the S.O. and was hugely impressed by the food and the service. It was a last minute decision to eat at Girl and the Goat (at the time we wanted to eat at Au Cheval but the wait was 2 and a half hours long) and I do not regret that decision. It was an excellent late summer afternoon so we were seated right away outside at the community tables. Our waiter was on point and we did not have to look for him if we needed something. If I could remember his name, I would give him a shout out right no... read more
