I've been wanting to eat at Girl & the Goat for over two years and finally made all the way from Houston. This place was fabulous so amazing, every dish and the staff was so attentive. I give them 50 stars!!!!
The food was fabulous; some daring flavors paired up nicely--delicious cocktails, too! Atmosphere was terrific, but the industrial ceiling meant no buffers for noise; very loud and difficult to hear a normal conversation. But my visit priority was for the food...and it did not disappoint!

The Girl and the Goat will seriously make you question why (if you ever that is) disliked vegetables! The green beans and cauliflower were divine! I also recommend the focaccia and the fried pork shank. The atmosphere is nice and you can get the full menu at the bar!
This was our first visit to Chicago and I was told that this was a must stop. They seated us just minutes after arriving and this was the most amazing meal we have had. The server, Josh, made the restaurant and the experience. I will be back now with every trip to Chicago! You can’t go wrong with anything you order and all the staff is amazing! Highly recommended.
Amazing food and experience. We had a great time with Hannah at the bar. The pork shank was ridiculous. Definitely our favorite meal in Chicago.
