This was supposed to be the shining star of our 4-day foodie tour, but unfortunately, it didn’t hold a candle to any of our other meals. Both food and service-wise. I’m way big on service. Two words: Chocolate. Pavlova. Seriously - where the f*ck has this been all of my life?!?! Laura (ikens) and I have been dining at Girl & the Goat nearly monthly for almost 5 years now... we’ve had AMAZING dishes and desserts. OK, pretty much everything is... I read a lot of great things about this place & really wanted to try it. So I invited my brothers girlfriend to meet me & my 3 year old toddler there. We wanted to see what all the hype was about. When I called to make reservations on Saturday at 4:30 pm which is when they open they had nothing available. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Amazing food, presentation and service. The first place I have ever eaten and there was no need for a salt or pepper shaker. In fact there were non on our table. I can’t say enough.
