Yummy Food – The decor leaves a lot to be desired, however the food is great! It's a bit spendy but you usually get to have leftovers the next day. One of our favorite places for italian munchies! Kudos to Giovanni's Restaurant
Romantic?? Not so much... – The food was pretty good and the portions were large. However, I'm surprised this was deemed a "romantic" spot. The atmosphere was definitely "basic Italian DINER" -- there was nothing romantic about it. (unless fake hanging plants and vinyl booths do it for you....). Also... I'd say the service was fair, at best.... We were seated promptly then had to wait for extended periods for everything after that... Authentic Italian – Simply the best in all the Portland area, and prices you won't believe. Food is high quality and made on site. I like the thinner crust pizza. Calzones are excellent. A large pitcher of beer for $6? Two can eat and drink very well for about $25 with the tip and take some pizza home. They are now open for lunch. This is very casual, has a second room for large parties, a few quiet booths. No one should miss this place.
yum yum – this is awesome food...especially when you're pregnant and need rich foods for the baby, yeah that's it... the baby. :)
