I'm a 74 year old musician and needed hernia surgery to fit around my busy schedule as well as a quick recovery time. Dr. Galloway is the best period! Not only did he spend time more with me during consultation than Doctors usually do he made sure the the time frame worked for me as well as making me feel very comfortable with having him as my surgeon. Fine. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear, but the unwelcome news was delivered in a straightforward and convincing manner.
My husband needed to have a lymph node removed for pathology. When he arrived the doctor did not have his history and had no idea what had been happening over the past year. He had made assumptions about my husbands condition. So he either didn't have his file and PET/CT or had not read them. Even so he decided to operate and wound up digging around to try and find the lymph node making quite a wound. Dr. Galloway is an extremely talented surgeon with a fantastic bedside manor. I had a spot of melanoma on my chest that he removed almost a year ago and you can barely see my scar. All of his staff was great and I would highly recommend!
I was very happy from start to finish with the care Dr. Galloway provided. I had my surgery (Gallbladder Removal) at Scripp's Encinitas. I was given exceptional care from all the staff. Dr. Galloway explained everything that the procedure would entail and went over the aftercare. He answered all of our questions and concerns. Very professional, I am very pleased and will refer Dr. Galloway to family , friends and co workers.
Dr. Galloway removed my gallbladder via laparoscopy in his Wellness Center. It was an easy experience. It's been 3 weeks since I had my surgery. I was tired and sore the first few days. Recovery has been a piece of cake, and I'm very pleased with the results. I'm happy to recommend Dr. Gil.
